Security Service Charitable Foundation donates $5,000 to Kinetic Kids, Inc
Donation to purchase virtual learning software and computer systems
SAN ANTONIO, TX (July 6, 2021) — The Security Service Charitable Foundation is helping Kinetic Kids, Inc. through a $5,000 donation to help provide advanced technology software and computer systems. These programs will create interactive virtual learning opportunities when in-person attendance is not available.
“Prior to Covid-19, Kinetic Kids delivered 100% of their programming in person,” said Tracey Fontenot, co-founder and co-executive director for Kinetic Kids, Inc. “This donation will help us provide the next best thing with virtual programs all while helping the participants increase their confidence levels and build friendships.”
For over 20 years Kinetic Kids has been serving children with physical and/or intellectual special needs in Bexar, Comal, and Kendall counties. Programs offered include adapted sports, fine arts, recreational activities, and educational programs. The mission of Kinetic Kids is to foster the personal development of courage, confidence, fitness, pride, joy, and community. Since its founding in 2001, Kinetic Kids has impacted the lives of over 40,000 children ages 18 months to young adult.
