Security Service Charitable Foundation donates $5,000 to the Warriors Heart Foundation
SAN ANTONIO, TX (July 20, 2018) — Security Service Charitable Foundation has presented $5,000 to the Warriors Heart Foundation, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to healing warriors from substance abuse and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Committed to providing a private healing environment, Warriors Heart opened the nation’s only dedicated, fully licensed and accredited, private treatment center for warriors only, which includes veterans, military, law enforcement and first responders. Located on a private 543-acre ranch just outside San Antonio, Texas, Warriors Heart provides a comforting space designed for healing and activities that offer positive experiences to help lead the way to a successful recovery.
“We are so grateful to Security Service for helping us to create a community of healing for those who have sacrificed so much to keep our communities safe,” said Josh Lannon, founder and president for Warriors Heart. “We want to make certain warriors have a place to go where they can heal with dignity and respect.”

To date, Warriors Heart has treated 350 warriors, and over 80 dogs have been rescued, trained, and placed with the warriors for ongoing emotional support.
