Security Service Federal Credit Union honored with Utah Worksite Wellness Council Award

Gold-level designation notes credit union’s commitment to strategic wellness programs

The Utah Worksite Wellness Council (UWWC) has presented the Healthy Worksite Award to Security Service Federal Credit Union. The council gave the credit union a gold-level designation for exemplary worksite wellness and commitment to improving employee health and wellbeing.

Security Service was assessed in several areas including culture, health promotion and education, physical activity, nutrition, smoking and tobacco cessation, as well as value-based benefits and design.  Success was ultimately attained by ensuring that wellness programs were a strategic and integral part of Security Service’s workplace platform.

“We’re honored to receive The Utah Worksite Wellness Council’s Healthy Worksite Award,” said Cindy Moran, senior vice president of human resources for Security Service Federal Credit Union. “Each and every one of our more than 1700 team members makes us who we are—and we are dedicated to providing them with an organization that values their talents and wellbeing.”

As a respected leader in worksite wellness, UWWC is a partnership of organizations united to build effective worksite wellness programs and methods that lead to sustainable lifestyle change for employees.  The council consistently evaluates best practices and sets new standards in the realm of helping businesses create health-filled cultures.
