Security Service Federal Credit Union selects award winning general contractor for new corporate headquarters
Jordan Foster ranked as one of the largest General Contractors in the Nation
SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 23, 2015) — Security Service Federal Credit Union is one step closer to starting construction on a new corporate headquarters in San Antonio. After an extensive search and selection process, Security Service leadership selected Jordan Foster to manage the project as the general contractor.

An award-winning leader in the construction industry and one of the largest general contractors in the country, Jordan Foster has completed more than $8 billion of commercial, residential, infrastructure, concrete and federal work since its start in 1969 in El Paso, Texas. The company has built a number of high profile projects, including DFW’s Trade Center and NEX at Pearl Harbor, the largest Navy Exchange in the world. In addition, they have worked on a dozen projects for Security Service.

The 250,000-square-foot corporate campus will sit on a portion of the 66 acres located at 14880 Interstate 10 West near UTSA Boulevard. It will ultimately house San Antonio headquarters employees and other back office personnel, many of whom are currently in leased buildings around the city. An additional 200 full-time positions will be added in the future.
In addition to providing a consolidated workspace, the new headquarters will accommodate the credit union’s employee initiative for a healthier lifestyle with a gym, amenities facility and café and will also include a large events center with banquet seating for more than 500 people that will be made available to other groups and organizations in the community.
Construction is scheduled to begin in March with a completion date of late 2016. The Security Service campus at La Cantera is currently being marketed by Dominion Advisory Group and CBRE Group Inc.
