Service One Credit Union holds successful Annual Shareholder’s Meeting

BOWLING GREEN, KY (April 26, 2023) — Service One Credit Union held its Annual Shareholder’s Meeting Thursday, April 20th, at the WKU Knicely Conference Center in Bowling Green, KY. The event was well attended, both in-person
and virtually, by members of the credit union. The meeting provided an opportunity for the credit union to review its previous year’s business and share that information with its members.

Dr. James McCaslin, Chairman, Ann Mead, Treasurer and Rebecca Stone, President and CEO reported on 2022 credit Union financials and activities. Service One ended 2022 with assets totaling $282 million. Ms. Stone announced the 2023 launch of a financial literacy partnership with Zogo, an interactive financial learning application, and described the concept and design of the future Bypass Branch being built at the corner of By-Pass (Riverview) and State Street.

The Board of Directors’ Nominating Committee, chaired by Brenda Willoughby, nominated Dr. James McCaslin, Ann Mead, and Dr. Harold Little, Jr. for the three expiring Board Seats. The nominees were elected by acclamation. The Board members expressed their gratitude to all Service One members for their continued support and pledged to work diligently to further the credit union’s purpose and mission. In an organization meeting the Board elected Dr. James McCaslin as Chairman, Pat Stewart as Vice President, and Ann Mead as Secretary/Treasurer. Other Board Members include Dr. Rich Miller, Dr. Harold Little, Dr. Chris George, and Brenda Willoughby.

Service One members enjoyed hors d’ oeuvres and an opportunity to win numerous door prizes. The credit union appreciates the continued support of its members and is committed to making Service One easy to bank with and providing a high standard of service and support to its members.
