ServU Credit Union will welcome families to its Penn Yan branch for a free Gear Up for School community event on Wednesday, August 27, from 2:30 PM–6:00 PM. The celebration will be held at 102 Delano Place, Penn Yan (across from the Keuka Lake Outlet, behind Casa Mezcal Restaurant, next to Carey’s Lumber).
The afternoon features kid-friendly activities, giveaways (while supplies last), and helpful resources for back-to-school readiness:
- Car seat checks by the Yates County Sheriff’s Department, 2:30 PM–4:30 PM
- Free ice cream from Seneca Farms
- Free school supplies (while supplies last)
- Free face painting
- Meet Smarty the Owl
- New account specials
