DEER PARK, TX (February 28, 2023) — On Saturday, February 11th, 2023, more than 470 Shell FCU members gathered at the Jimmy Burke Activity Center for the Shell FCU Experience Event. This event was a celebration of the Credit Union’s 2022 85th Anniversary and the stage for three $10,000 live grand prize drawings. Anyone who obtained an auto, signature, mortgage or home equity loan in 2022 was eligible to win one of three $10,000 prizes.
The feeling of excitement and anticipation was intense as the crowd enjoyed food, slushies, a 360 photo booth, face painting, balloon artists, games, giveaways and other prizes. Plus, seventeen event attendees also secured entrance into the money machine to win a total of $1,447. The three $10,000 winners were randomly chosen from the almost 24,000 qualifying loans obtained in 2022.
