Sikorsky Credit Union honored Danbury veterans with banners

STRATFORD, CT (October 7, 2022) — Sikorsky Credit Union supported the Hometown Heroes Banner Program of Danbury and provided four veterans with banners.

The Hometown Heroes Banner Program was designed to help communities never forget the brave men and women who have served our nation. Sikorsky Credit Union had the opportunity to sponsor four veterans in Danbury through this program. The banners included the honorees photo, name, rank, branch of service, era of service and service dates. These banners will be displayed on lampposts along White Street in Danbury.

Ken Ferrari, SVP/Chief Lending Officer at Sikorsky Credit Union commented, “Sikorsky Credit Union was honored to be part of this community project in Danbury. It was a privilege to support these veterans for the sacrifices they made in defending our country. We hope these banners provide a fraction of the recognition they deserve.”
