On Oct. 11, 2024, Soarion Credit Union donated $10,000 to the Airman Heritage Foundation, a San Antonio-based non-profit organization focused on preserving and honoring the history and heritage of United States Air Force airmen and guardians. Soarion Credit Union President and CEO Ric Ledezma presented the donation to representatives of the Airman Heritage Foundation during the credit union’s inaugural golf tournament.
“Presenting $10,000 to the Airman Heritage Foundation is a proud moment for us at Soarion Credit Union,” Ledezma said. “We strive to support the communities we serve in many ways, and we are especially honored to be able to support an organization so closely tied to our history as a credit union. This donation was made possible thanks to the sponsors, participants, and supporters of our first-ever golf tournament. We thank them for their generosity.”
Soarion Credit Union held its inaugural golf tournament on October 11 at San Antonio’s Brackenridge Park Golf Course. The event welcomed more than 100 golfers who competed for prizes, awards, and more.
