Sonia Turk named United Federal Credit Union Electronic Funds Transfer Manager

ST. JOSEPH, MI (July 23, 2015) — Sonia Turk has been appointed to the position of manager, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), at United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) in St. Joseph, Michigan. In her new role, Turk will lead the EFT Team in the operation of electronic account services and will assist the director of Finance & Accounting in making informed, strategic, and operational decisions leading to improved operational quality, lowered operational costs and increased operational responsiveness to UFCU members’ needs.

Turk brings with her more than 12 years of banking industry experience, including retail and corporate banking, sales, governed-risk management and operational controls duties with 1st Source Bank, Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase.  Previously, she was a cash management support supervisor at 1st Source Bank in South Bend, Indiana.

Turk, a native of Karachi, Pakistan, comes to UFCU from the Chicago area. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in marketing from Southeastern University in Washington, D.C., and a Master of Business Administration degree from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin. She resides in Granger, Indiana.
