South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union names new CFO/VP of Finance

MIAMI, FL (January 3, 2014) – South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union (FCU) recently appointed David D’Annunzio as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance.

D’Annunzio has served the credit union industry for almost 10 years in progressively challenging Finance and Accounting positions. He most recently served as CFO of Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union, a $475 million credit union in Charleston, South Carolina. He also has been active in the credit union movement, holding the position of Past President of the Charleston Chapter of the South Carolina Credit Union League, Chair of the Executive Committee of CUNA CFO Council and Treasurer of the South Carolina CU Management Association.

“David brings valuable experience and talents to our credit union as we expand and prepare to introduce several exciting and innovative programs and services for our members,” said Michael DiBenedetto, President and CEO.

David is a licensed CPA and is a graduate of University of Richmond with a degree in Accounting and Spanish.
