Spero Financial, a South Carolina-based financial cooperative, has been named one of the 2021 Best Places to Work in South Carolina. This distinction is awarded by SC Biz News in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.

This annual program is designed to recognize outstanding places of employment in South Carolina. To be considered for participation, Spero Financial had to meet eligibility requirements based on organizational size and operational history – in addition to completing a two-part evaluation. Part one consisted of the evaluation of Spero’s benefits and policies; part two consisted of the evaluation of Spero’s employee engagement and satisfaction through a confidential employee survey. Based on these findings, scores were combined to determine the top companies and final rankings.
An award ceremony will be held at the Columbia Convention Center on August 5, where Spero Financial and other recipients will receive their official award and ranking. In addition, all winners will be featured in a special edition of SC Biz Magazine in August.
