SSFCU promotes Cichoski to Senior Vice President, commercial services

(August 1, 2014) — Security Service Federal Credit Union (SSFCU) is pleased to announce that William A. Cichoski has been promoted to senior vice president of commercial services responsible for all business-related lending, products and services for the credit union in all markets, including oversight of the growth of SSFCU’s commercial loan portfolio and development and implementation of new commercial products and services. He was previously vice president of commercial
services.
Cichoski joined SSFCU in 2007 with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Leveraging his leadership and development skills, he has played a key role in transforming SSFCU’s commercial services department, growing the loan portfolio from $35 million in assets to $240 million.
Prior to joining SSFCU, he held several leadership positions, including vice president for US Bank, vice president at PNC Bank and Rhode Island State Chairman for the American Institute of Banking.
Cichoski previously served as an intelligence officer in the US Army and holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Pennsylvania’s German University. He is active on the board of directors for the San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind and currently serves as its Finance Committee chair.
