St. Lawrence Federal sponsors B.A.S.S. Master Elite Series tournament in Waddington
OGDENSBURG, NY (July 6, 2015) — St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union (SLFCU) will be a sponsor for the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.) Master Elite Series – Evan Williams Bourbon Bassmaster Elite being held July 30th – August 2nd in Waddington. The credit union donated $2,500 and will be in attendance at the tournament on Saturday, August 1st with an information display table.

The tournament was a huge success when it came to Waddington in 2013 and we look forward to another big turnout and weekend of great fishing.”
The Bassmaster Elite Series returns to Waddington, for the Evan Williams Bourbon Bassmaster Elite, where it drew more than 34,000 people to Waddington for the four-day tournament in 2013, setting a new attendance record. The Evan Williams Bourbon Elite is the only Elite stop in the Northeast this year. The tournament will bring the world’s top 100 anglers back to compete for a $100,000 prize on the St. Lawrence River, which is known as a world-class smallmouth bass fishery, number 11 on the list of the nation’s 100 best.
About B.A.S.S. Master Elite Tournament
B.A.S.S. is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Bassmaster Elite Series with eight tournaments across the country featuring “prominent and important fisheries” and commemorating “some of the greatest events in bass fishing history,” according to B.A.S.S. CEO Bruce Akin. The St. Lawrence River event is number 6 on the schedule.
