Stamford Federal Credit Union announces new President/Chief Executive Officer

Stamford Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the selection of Edward Fox as the credit union’s new President/Chief Executive Officer.

We feel confident that Edward is truly the right fit for Stamford Federal Credit Union,” said Tania Barnes, Chairperson of the Board of Directors.

Fox is a seasoned credit union executive and boasts twenty-eight years of executive leadership experience. He comes to Stamford Federal Credit Union from FEW Federal Credit Union in Los Angeles, California where he held the position of Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his time at FEW Federal Credit Union, Fox was the Interim President and CEO at Clearpath Federal Credit Union in Glendale, California. He has also served as Chief Lending Officer and both University Credit Union in Los Angeles, California, and American Eagle Federal Credit Union in East Hartford, Connecticut. Fox holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics and History from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.

When asked to comment, Edward stated, “I am thrilled to be joining Stamford Federal Credit Union, it is an honor to have been chosen to lead such a progressive organization. I am looking forward to getting to know the Board and the team, and begin serving the membership.”
