Still time to register for NCUA Town Hall Webinar with Chairman Matz and CFPB Director Cordray

ALEXANDRIA, VA (February 4, 2014) – Registration is still open for a free town hall webinar with National Credit Union Administration Board Chairman Debbie Matz and her guest Richard Cordray, Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, on Wednesday, Feb. 12, beginning at 3 p.m. Eastern.
Chairman Matz and Director Cordray will cover a broad range of regulatory issues that affect credit unions, including CFPB’s new mortgage rules.
“This webinar will be a great opportunity for credit unions to talk with their regulators and get answers to important questions,” Chairman Matz said. “I encourage people throughout the industry to join us for what should be a most informative discussion.”
Online registration for this free, informative webinar is now open and available here. Participants will use this same link to log into the webinar, and they should allow pop-ups from this website.
During the webinar, participants will be able to type in questions about any topic relating to the credit union industry or the work of CFPB. Participants also can submit advance questions at WebinarQuestions@ncua.gov. The subject line of the email should read, “NCUA-CFPB Town Hall.”
