Support EXP celebrates Tennessee Credit Unions ranked as Forbes’ 2022 Best-in-State

CENTERVILLE, OH (July 5, 2022) — Credit union clients of Support EXP that call Tennessee home were well-represented in Forbes’ 2022 rankings of America’s Best Credit Unions in Each State. The annual Forbes list is an elite group of institutions recognized through member surveys as delivering a superior member experience (MX). Of the more than 5,000 credit unions nationwide, just 3.4% made this year’s list. Only three of the 134 credit unions in Tennessee achieved Forbes recognition this year.

Moving up from #2 in Tennessee to claim the top spot this year is Eastman Credit Union, a $7.5 billion institution based in Kingsport. ORNL Federal Credit Union of Oak Ridge, with over $3B in assets, took a big leap to the #2 spot after being unranked last year. While Eastman CU has partnered with Support EXP for many years to measure and manage its MX, ORNL FCU’s collaboration with Support EXP began more recently, amid the uncertainties of the COVID pandemic. Both clients, however, have found their own path to MX success with Support EXP’s member feedback solutions, analytics, and expert guidance.

For the fifth year, Forbes joined with market research firm Statista to survey more than 26,000 financial consumers in the U.S. about their banking relationships. Financial institutions were scored on overall member satisfaction and likelihood to recommend, as well as six sub-dimensions: Trust, Terms and Conditions, Customer Services, Branch Services, Digital Services and Financial Advice.

Year over year, Forbes recognizes Support EXP clients nationwide as “Best-in-State” in member satisfaction. These credit unions understand the essential role that dynamic MX measurement plays in keeping pace with volatile shifts in financial consumers’ expectations and mindset. Forbes’ annual survey emphasizes member satisfaction and trust, qualities essential to the credit union mission. The Forbes rankings reflect how well credit unions are living up to their members’ expectations, and inspiring loyalty in the process.
