For the months of May and June, all eligible TBA Credit Union members with consumer or business term loans and TBACU VISA Credit Cards will not have payments due to help provide further relief during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of Friday, May 1, TBACU members who have TBACU VISA Credit Cards or loans with fixed-rate terms, and who meet eligibility requirements, will not have payments due until July. This includes loans that have the same payment amount each month for your cars, boats, RVs, ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, bicycles, UCC secured and other similar loans.
Members should keep in mind that the loan term will be extended by the number of skipped payments, but if preferred, members may still make payments to avoid the term extension. Any members who have signed up for automatic payments or transfers to their loans will need to reach out to TBA Credit Union to cancel if they would like their payments skipped in May and June. Please visit tbacu.com or call the TBA Credit Union Service Center at 231.946.7090 for more details and to see if your loans are eligible for the program.
“TBA Credit Union is here to support our members,” says Karen Browne, CEO of TBACU. “Although we cannot control our current circumstances, we hope to bring some peace of mind to our members that may be facing financial burden.”
