TDECU enters Dallas/Fort Worth Market through merger with Texas Catholic Community Credit Union
LAKE JACKSON, TX (July 7, 2015) — TDECU-Your Credit Union today announced its successful merger with Dallas-based Texas Catholic Community Credit Union (TCC Credit Union). The merger is the most recent step in TDECU’s expansion plans and represents the credit union’s entry into the Dallas/Fort Worth market where it plans to bring residents in these communities access to TDECU’S financial services, products and renowned customer service.

Established in 1969 to initially serve Catholics in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area, TCC Credit Union prior to the merger had $33 million in assets, operated two branches and served more than 7,000 members. With total assets of $2.5 billion, TDECU will now serve TCC Credit Union’s former members along with more than 200,000 members in Texas. Employees of TCC Credit Union have been offered positions with TDECU.
