Terrain: good vibes, music and art

SPOKANE, WA (October 2, 2014) — As a second year presenting sponsor of Terrain, Global Credit Union is anxiously awaiting the excitement, creativity and authenticity that will take Spokane by storm October 3, 2014 at the juried, multimedia exhibit.

Tomorrow evening for one night only, Terrain will showcase raw, fresh and vibrant expression from all over the artistic spectrum including painting, music, literature, film, interactive art and more. This event will debut 255 unique works of art by 142 local, emerging artists. Simultaneously, 10 bands will be in attendance with performances by Gypsy Bros, Loomer, Head Hiatus, Trummors, Lost Masters, Heavy Seventee, Bitwvlf, Bishop Allen and Durazzo. Preview them here.

This free, all ages art and music fest will also have food trucks on site and drink specials till 2am. Located at a brand new venue this year, Terrain will take place at the Washington Cracker Co., which will become the permanent home to a year-round visual and performing arts space.

Global Credit Union, a supporter of art, music, small businesses and community cultivation has selected Terrain along with several other culture-rich events to be a signature project this year. Global has elected to sponsor other likeminded organizations and events this year: Volume Music Festival presented by the Inlander, Elkfest, BAZAAR presented by Terrain, Billboard Mural Project featuring artist Jesse Pierpoint, Bartfest presented by the Bartlett, and South Perry Farmers’ Market including the Fair and Parade.
