Texas Trust Credit Union employees raise $5,500 for Children’s Miracle Network

ARLINGTON, TX (December 15, 2020) — For the third consecutive year, employees of Texas Trust Credit Union held a 24-hour game-a-thon to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network, raising $5,500 this year.

Some Texas Trust gamers played together virtually, while others played board games in their homes with their families.

The Extra Life game-a-thon is a national event that brings people together to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Extra Lifers are game enthusiasts who have turned their passion into helping sick and injured children through raising money by playing games. Texas Trust’s gamers secured pledges and donations for their game playing during the 24-hour event.

Texas Trust is donating the money its employees raised to the Cook’s Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, one of the 170 hospitals in the Children’s Miracle Network. The money raised will allow hospitals to fund research and training, purchase life-saving equipment, and pay for uncompensated care.
