MANSFIELD, Texas – November 14, 2012Texas Trust Credit Union joined the ranks of Dallas-Fort Worth’s top companies to work for in the fourth annual Dallas Morning News Top 100 compilation.

More than 1,000 companies were initially nominated for this prestigious award, which recognizes the best places to work in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Through a third-party employee survey conducted by the Dallas Morning News and WorkplaceDynamics, the Top 100 companies were determined.

Texas Trust, the only credit union in the Top 100, was selected based on independent employee surveys that ranked the credit union based on its executive leadership, opportunities for professional advancement, work conditions, benefits, and workplace flexibility.

The top 100 awards are divided into three categories: large companies with 500 or more local employees, midsize companies with 150 to 499 employees, and small companies with 50 to 149 employees. With more than 200 employees, Texas Trust was ranked 26th among the 35 midsize companies to make the Top 100 list.

“It is a great honor to receive this award because it is based entirely on what our employees think about working here,” said Jim Minge, president and CEO of Texas Trust Credit Union. “I firmly believe that happy employees translates to happy members and great customer service. Our employees are definitely the key to making Texas Trust such an outstanding place to work.”
