The Ascendant presented by Blue – Folds of Honor
BERTHOUD, CO (July 12, 2024) — The Ascendant Presented by Blue, a premier experience on the Korn Ferry Tour, today announced a partnership with Folds of Honor to recognize U.S. military service members, first responders and their families during a ceremony at the conclusion of play on Saturday, July 13 at TPC Colorado.
Folds of Honor is a foundation that provides academic scholarships to the families of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders, and since it began in 2007, the organization has provided more than 52,000 scholarships valued at about $244 million in all 50 states.
During the third round of play, local Folds of Honor scholarship recipients will tend the pin on hole 18, and a closing ceremony immediately following play will include the singing of the National Anthem and presentation of colors. Additionally, all at the Ascendant Presented by Blue are encouraged to wear red, white and blue on Saturday as an outward display of unity and an inward commitment to meeting sacrifice with hope for the families of America’s heroes. For the third consecutive year, spectators will have the opportunity to support Folds of Honor by making a flat donation or a per-birdie pledge at TPC Colorado’s famed 13th hole, visit www.foh.org/KFT.

This initiative is part of a new Folds of Honor program supported TOUR-wide that officially debuted in June at the Memorial Tournament and is being activated at select events on the PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions and the Korn Ferry Tour throughout the year. Because the Ascendant Presented by Blue’s partnership with Folds of Honor and participation in the program, 13 individuals in the Denver area will receive academic scholarships on behalf of the Tournament.

Folds of Honor is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of US military service members and first responders who have fallen or been disabled while serving our country and communities.
