The Kids-N-Hope Foundation raises $15,000 at the inaugural cornhole tournament

Community Event Raises Funds to Support Pediatric Music Therapy Programs at Local Hospitals

PHILADELPHIA, PA (September 15, 2022) — American Heritage Credit Union (“American Heritage”) joined the Kids-N-Hope Foundation (“The Foundation”) to raise of $15,000 during the Inaugural Cornhole Tournament, presented by Intech Construction. All proceeds from this event benefit the Kids-N-Hope Foundation, which aims to enhance children’s health and life services through pediatric music therapy at local hospitals and not-for-profit organizations.

Over 200 individuals participated in the fundraising event, representing members, neighbors, and employees of American Heritage, as well as other local credit unions and community partners. Cash prizes and trophies were awarded to the top three teams of the tournament.

“We are thrilled to have raised these funds at our newest fundraising event for the Kids-N-Hope Foundation,” stated Bruce K. Foulke, Founder and Chairman of the Kids-N-Hope Foundation and President & CEO of American Heritage Credit Union. “The Kids-N-Hope Foundation continues to host new programs and events that aim to raise awareness and help fund our mission of helping local children through music therapy programs. Without the continued support from our community through their participation in events like this tournament, we would not be able to make the impacts we do in the lives of pediatric patients each year.”

Teams of two played in a Round Robin tournament, competing for cash prizes while supporting the Kids-N-Hope Foundation.

The top three teams of the cornhole tournament won cash prizes ranging from $1,200 to $300 as well as tournament trophies.

Bruce Foulke presented the “Smokin Moes,” Nicholas Leeper and John Sharpe, with a cash prize and first place trophies.
