The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates proudly recognized the 2025 Emerging Professionals of the Year during ENGAGE 2026 in Orlando, Florida. This award honors rising leaders who demonstrate exceptional promise, dedication, and commitment to the credit union mission.
Each year, one emerging professional from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia is selected for their contributions to their organization, their communities, and the future of the credit union movement.
This year’s recipients are:
- Alabama: Caleb Lambert, Legacy Community Federal Credit Union
- Florida: Brianna Brinkley, Calhoun Liberty Credit Union
- Georgia: Tia Shaheed, Macon-Bibb Employees Credit Union
- Virginia: Sabrina Guerin, Virginia Credit Union
Caleb Lambert was recognized for his leadership in community engagement and his commitment to advancing the credit union movement. As Director of Community Engagement at Legacy Community Federal Credit Union, he has led initiatives that strengthen community partnerships, elevate financial education, and support meaningful outreach. His involvement in professional development programs and industry initiatives reflects a strong dedication to growth and service.
Brianna Brinkley was honored for her commitment to professional growth and community impact. As a Mortgage Originator at Calhoun Liberty Credit Union, she plays a key role in helping members achieve homeownership while actively contributing to industry engagement efforts. Her involvement in emerging professional networks and community outreach initiatives highlights her dedication to both her members and the credit union movement.
Tia Shaheed was recognized for her passion for member service and dedication to the credit union mission. As a Member Service Representative at Macon-Bibb Employees Credit Union, she is committed to building trust with members and delivering meaningful financial guidance. Her continued pursuit of professional growth and engagement within the industry reflects a strong commitment to leadership and service.
Sabrina Guerin was honored for her impact with financial education and her commitment to serving underserved communities. As a Senior Adult Financial Education Specialist at Virginia Credit Union, she has led initiatives that expand access to financial knowledge and empower individuals to achieve long-term stability. Her work reflects a deep commitment to inclusion, education, and community impact.
