Twenty-five year mortgage industry veteran to oversee QC and fulfillment company’s growth
ATLANTA, GA (August 5, 2014) -- The StoneHill Group, a national provider of quality control, due diligence, and mortgage fulfillment solutions for mortgage lenders, banks and credit unions, has appointed Wade Hamby as the company’s national director of sales and marketing. Hamby, who has more than 25 years of executive experience in mortgage lending, outsourcing and quality control, will be responsible for spearheading the growth of the company in a year when compliance and quality assurance have become pivotal in the mortgage industry.
Most recently, Hamby served as business development manager for the Eastern U.S. for The StoneHill Group. His previous roles include vice president of business development for the Southeast region for AmeriCU Mortgage; vice president, division manager with Triad Guaranty; and vice president at Hovde Financial in Washington, D.C., where he provided M&A services to depositories in the mid-Atlantic and southeast regions. Hamby is the former president of AboutYourMortgage.com LLC, a web-based mortgage services provider.
Hamby’s industry experience also includes risk management, loss mitigation and fulfillment services, including both wholesale and correspondent relationships. He has been active in trade organizations throughout his career, and is a past recipient of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Florida’s Brown L. Whatley Award. Since 1955, the prestigious award is presented annually to an outstanding member due to their contributions to the association and the industry in the state of Florida.
