Three days left to Register for CUES Carolinas Council 2015 Spring Meeting for April 21, 2015

(April 15, 2015) — There are only a few days left to register for the Carolina CUES Spring Council meeting, Tuesday, April 21! The Spring Council meeting will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with lunch included, at Allegacy FCU in Winston Salem.

CUES members and non-members are welcome. CUES is not just for CEOs, but also encourages all levels of management or young credit union employees on the fast-track to management, to attend. There are two dynamic speakers for the day and time for networking and credit union fellowship.

Tansley Stearns with Filene will present Execution: from Innovation to Implementation

The shape of tomorrow’s credit unions will depend on the stealthy execution of innovative ideas developed to meet consumers’ increasingly complex financial needs. In this interactive session, Tansley shares the framework for building a culture of innovation that transforms ideas into action, discusses how you can build discipline into the innovation cycle without killing creativity, presents ideas for fitting innovation into an already busy day, and gives some real-life examples of how executed innovation actually works within credit unions.

Jill Lackey of Allegacy Business Solutions will present on Strategic Talent Management

What is strategic talent management? Talent management is the science of using strategic human resource planning to improve business value and to make it possible for companies and organizations to reach their goals. This includes strategic workforce planning, performance management, coaching, succession planning, and employee development.
