Tinker Federal Credit Union names new vice president and manager of real estate sales

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (March 23, 2026) |

Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has named Carlos Leiva vice president and  manager of real estate sales. He leads TFCU’s real estate lending team who focus on helping members through the  homebuying process.

Leiva brings nearly three decades of mortgage and lending experience to TFCU. He began his career in 1996 as a loan officer in  Chicago, later moving to Texas to serve as a lending manager with a major U.S. bank. Most recently, he worked as a mortgage  production manager before relocating to Oklahoma City.

In his new position at TFCU, Leiva oversees real estate sales production, and he and his team work closely with mortgage loan  officers, real estate agents and builders to better support members. May Landon, senior vice president of real estate lending  at TFCU, said Leiva’s high production experience in major markets and his ability to build strong teams and relationships will  support the credit union’s real estate lending growth.

“We are extremely pleased that Carlos has joined TFCU,” Landon said. “Almost three decades of high-production sales  experience across major regional markets make him the perfect addition to our team.”

Leiva said the variety of roles he has held over the years has reinforced his belief in keeping loan processes moving quickly and  communicating clearly so members can have a smoother homebuying experience. He is excited about the opportunity to help  TFCU strengthen its real estate lending team and help make the homebuying experience easier for members.

“Seeing where we are now and looking ahead to the future really excites me and gives me purpose,” said Leiva. “I am focused  on helping make the homebuying process more efficient and onboarding talented mortgage loan officers so we can keep  growing and serving our members well.”
