Todd Lucas joins TDECU as Vice President of Business Services
LAKE JACKSON, TX (September 24, 2014) — TDECU is proud to announce that Todd Lucas has joined the credit union as its new Vice President of Business Services. Lucas is a highly skilled leader with 26 years in the financial services industry with 16 of these years in commercial and small business lending.
As Vice President of Business Services, he will be responsible for the supervision of TDECU’s business relationship managers, its loan administration and credit analysis staff, and the Special Assets Department within Business Services. Lucas also plans to be active in the communities which TDECU serves by participating in civic, community and trade organizations, and other charitable organizations, as well as in Small Business Development Centers. His strategic vision includes plans to reach out to TDECU’s business members, and potential members, and assist as many small to medium-size businesses as possible.

Prior to joining TDECU, Lucas worked as the Executive Vice President of Loan Operations for a Southeastern regional economic development lender. He supervised all of the operations of the company, and worked very closely with the Small Business Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He assisted more than 200 small and medium-size businesses, obtaining long-term loans totaling $2 billion over a 12 year period.
