TraceSecurity channel partner program delivers solid, early growth

BATON ROUGE, LA (November 19, 2013) — TraceSecurity, the pioneer in cloud-based IT governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions, today announced that its Partner Program, launched just last March, is already producing solid growth for early adopters looking to expand their existing service offerings. TraceSecurity partners can now offer its customers a cloud-based, comprehensive risk-based information security program, along with other unique services, allowing them to capitalize on the evolving security market.

“We launched this program with a singular strategy for it to be simple, flexible and profitable for our partners,” said Alan Fortier, director of channel sales. “There is no upfront financial investment asked of new partners. We provide the demonstration software, an expansive partner portal, and the sales and technical training needed to sell, implement and support the product. We also provide marketing support, which can include webinars, lunch and learn programs, and template sales and marketing materials. We look for partners committed to investing the time needed to learn, support and sell the products. If they are successful, we’re successful.”

Since launching the partner initiative in March, TraceSecurity has signed up 25 program participants and expects to close the year with at least 40 in place, according to Fortier, with fourth quarter results currently on track to double those from the previous quarter. Partners to date include Choice Solutions, 4A Security, MMIC, Castle Ventures, Swain Techs and others. TraceSecurity expects to add key national partners to this growing list in the coming months.

Minnesota-based MMIC, the largest policyholder-owned medical liability insurer in the Midwest, has seen 5 new opportunities for its organization in the last 30 days. MMIC joined the TraceSecurity Partner Program in September of this year.

“The timing of this program couldn’t be better for us, said Greg Williams, Security Compliance Consultant for MMIC. “The new HIPAA omnibus rule, which was passed in January and became effective last month, will dramatically affect how covered entities handle risk management and breach notification. Through TraceSecurity’s partner program and IT GRC solution, we’re able to help our clients map the new compliance requirements to the right solutions needed to ensure a complete security and risk management strategy.”

The TraceSecurity Partner Program is designed to provide managed service providers, consultants and value added resellers the ability to offer comprehensive security services and IT GRC products.  With the company’s TraceCSO risk, audit and compliance management product, partners also have means to identify customer areas that need to be addressed from a security or compliance perspective, creating sell through and revenue opportunities for other leading security solutions in the partners’ solution mixes.

TraceSecurity partners can take advantage of benefits, including: sales and marketing support, technical training, a tiered discount structure, evaluation software, deal registration and flexible partner levels.  Partners can also participate in multiple levels simultaneously.  And, the program supports technology partners with OEM and integration capabilities.  For more information, visit www.tracesecurity.com/partners.
