Truliant names Sweeney manager for new Mint Hill location
WINSTON-SALEM, NC (October 24, 2014) –– Truliant Federal Credit Union has appointed Catherine Sweeney as manager of its recently opened Mint Hill Member Financial Center.
Sweeney will be responsible for increasing the Mint Hill location’s visibility and cultivating strong community, member and business partner relationships. She will work closely with branch staff to develop necessary skillsets that give member-owners the personal attention, guidance and support to establish solid financial foundations and meet their goals.
Located at 7114 Brighton Park Dive, Suite 300 in Mint Hill, N.C., the location provides the latest financial services technology and maintains a focus on Truliant’s growing member base in the Charlotte area.
“As we continue to grow in Charlotte, the staff inside the Member Financial Centers and their focus on the mission to improve members’ lives will drive our success in the area,” said Rik Kielbasa, Truliant senior vice president, member experience. “Catherine has demonstrated tremendous success in the region. We’re thrilled she’s joined Truliant to continue to take care of the financial needs of the community.”
Sweeney began her financial career with Fifth Third Bank in Charlotte in 2006 where she excelled at providing personalized customer service. She was promoted to loan officer and continued to learn how to strengthen relationships by helping others navigate complex financial questions.
The recipient of numerous awards since her career began, Sweeney most recently served as assistant vice president, branch manager at PNC Bank in Matthews before joining Truliant.
“Helping others build a solid financial foundation has always driven my career,” said Sweeney. “Listening to Truliant’s mission to improve lives and watching it drive every interaction led to a decision to join the organization as it expands within Charlotte and the Mint Hill community,” Sweeney said.
Sweeney earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte.
