TruPartner Credit Union names Nina Myers President/CEO

After a national search, the Board of Directors of TruPartner Credit Union is pleased to announce the selection of Nina Myers as the credit union’s new President/Chief Executive Officer.

“We are proud of the legacy of TruPartner Credit Union and know that Nina is the right choice to carry us into the future, continuing to build that legacy as we make a difference for our communities and our growing 17,000-person membership,” said Board Chairman Steven Howe. “Nina stood out from other candidates with her rich experience, her clear knowledge of the credit union system, and—most of all—her passion for economic empowerment and how it will enrich the lives of our members and the community. We are excited to see how we grow with Nina leading our exceptional team.”

TruPartner Credit Union is the result of a 2015 merger of Communicating Arts Credit Union and Cincinnati Central Credit Union and is well-known for its rich history. The two credit unions were led by Catherine Herring and Bill Herring (respectively), the daughter and son of credit union pioneer Louise McKerren Herring. Both credit unions had been co-founded by Herring, (Cincinnati Central in 1937 and Communicating Arts in 1940). TruPartner Credit Union remains committed to serving the people of Greater Cincinnati with partnership that expands their economic well-being. It has over $180 Million in assets and 17,000 members.

“I am excited to continue the legacy and leadership of the Louise Herring family and put the credit union cooperative principles into action at TruPartner. The credit union has already poised itself as a leader in providing financial services in the Cincinnati area, and I plan to expand upon that even further,” said Myers.  “TruPartner has great potential to be even more, and I look forward to collaborating with the board and staff to make it the best place to belong.”

Myers, a Credit Union Development Educator, began her credit union career nearly 20 years ago as a Member Service Representative. She has worked her way up the ranks of credit union leadership, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Fitzsimons Federal Credit Union (Aurora, CO).

Myers is in her third and final year at Western CUNA Management School and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is an active community volunteer and has served in AmeriCorps.

The search was completed in partnership with Humanidei + O’Rourke.
