Two Colorado leaders elected to Elevations Credit Union’s Board of Directors

BOULDER, CO (April 26, 2023)April 26, 2023 – Elevations Credit Union hosted its 70th annual membership meeting on April 24, 2023, at Elevations’ Headquarters located in Boulder, Colo. The meeting included the election of members Monica Coughlin and Ray Martinez to the Elevations Board of Directors, each for a term of three years.

Monica Coughlin is the Chief Operating Officer for Colorado Technology Association, where she leads business development, marketing, sales and more for the association’s 300-plus member organizations. With over two decades of experience in the IT industry, Coughlin has a proven track record in strategy development, business operations and executive leadership. She holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration and computer science from Regis University, and she completed the 50 for Colorado Leadership Program through the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business.

Ray Martinez is a retired Fort Collins police sergeant and a former three-term mayor of the City of Fort Collins. He most recently served as City Councilmember for District 2 in Fort Collins from 2015 to 2019. He is a U.S. Army veteran, having received the Army Commendation Medal. Martinez has dedicated significant time working closely with Hispanic community leaders, youth and athletes to improve the relationship between the community and law enforcement.

Officer and committee elections and appointments were also held, resulting in Don Cheyne’s election to the position of Chair, Ray Martinez to Vice Chair, Garry Woods to Secretary and Todd Gleeson to the position of Treasurer. Kate Brown, Todd Gleeson, Ray Martinez and Garry Woods were elected to serve on the Audit and Risk Committee. Chair Elect Cheyne appointed Ray Martinez Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee, along with fellow Committee members Natalie Baumgartner, Monica Coughlin and Nancy Herbert. The officer and committee positions are one-year terms.

On behalf of the Board, Mr. Cheyne extended his appreciation to Barbara Brohl, who, after serving on the Board since 2019, resigned her position at the end of 2022 when she moved out of state.
