United Credit Union celebrates receiving Juntos Avanzamos (Together We Advance) desigation from Inclusiv for its service to Hispanic communities
CHICAGO, IL (October 4, 2022) — United Credit Union hosted a celebration on September 29, 2022 from 2pm – 6pm in the afternoon in recognition of receiving the Juntos Avanzamos designation, from Inclusiv.
This notable designation is awarded to credit unions that have demonstrated exceptional service to Hispanic communities. United Credit Union is the third credit union in Illinois to hold this prestigious certification.
Community leaders, including State Representative Aaron Ortiz (1st District) and Cook County Commissioner Alma Anaya (7th District), were present on September 29 for a proclamation ceremony and celebration to recognize United Credit Union’s accomplishment. Local vendors and small businesses were also on-site to participate in the celebration.
Opening remarks were be delivered by Mario Aguirre, CEO of United Credit Union. Pablo DeFilippi, Inclusiv’s Executive Vice President presented the official Juntos Avanzamos flag to the credit union.
