United Federal Credit Union voted Favorite Financial Institution for Fourth Year

NILES, MI (July 23, 2015) — United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) is proud to announce it has been voted Best of the Best in the bank/credit union category of the Leader Publication’s Reader’s Choice Awards. UFCU is also the only financial institution to be named a Best Place to Work in the competition.

“We are deeply appreciative of the trust our members have placed in us and we thank them,” said President/CEO Gary Easterling. “It is also gratifying that our personnel selected us as a top employer. Both honors reflect our philosophy of putting people first.”

Voters cast ballots for their favorite businesses, service providers, personalities and employers in more than 100 categories of the competition between June 22 and July 5, 2015. This is the fourth consecutive year UFCU has received the top honor in the financial services category.

“Our staff is the reason for our success,” said Brett Wier, market vice president in southern Berrien County. “Every day when they come to work they demonstrate their commitment to excellence. Our team is outstanding.”

UFCU has four branches in southern Berrien County. Two are located in Niles, and there is one each in Buchanan and Berrien Springs. This is the second time this year UFCU has been recognized for outstanding service and contributions to the region. In April, the credit union was named Business of the Year by the Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce.
