United Federal Credit Union welcomes new board associate director

ST. JOSEPH, MI (May 14, 2025) |

United Federal Credit Union (United) is pleased to announce the appointment of a new member to its Board of Directors  Heidi Buske, associate director. Buske will help the credit union achieve its mission of improving members’ lives, enhancing local communities, and building a strong organization for years to come.

“Heidi will bring transformative leadership and invaluable insights to our board room,” said Terry O’Rourke, United President/CEO. “We are excited to welcome her to the Board and look forward to her contributions to United’s continued growth.”

Buske has over 20 years’ experience in strategic transformation and innovative execution. Currently she is Senior Director for Strategy Execution at Cargill, a company based in Wayzata, Minnesota, and has been with the company since 2018.

Buske's accomplishments in strategic execution—including using data and analytics to drive cost optimization initiatives, and championing change through new processes, technologies, workflows, and organizational structures—will bring valuable insights to United’s board room.

Buske is actively involved in the Northwest Arkansas community, supporting organizations such as the Children's Shelter, Children's Safety Center of Washington County, and Benton County Children's Advocacy Center. Additionally, she was a founding member of Women’s Meat Industry Network (WMIN), an organization dedicated to the growth and retention of women in the protein industry.
