United Solutions Company welcomes new Board Member Michael Downing this December
TALLAHASSEE, FL (December 7, 2020) — The United Solutions Company (USC) announces Michael Downing as a new addition to its Board of Directors.
USC, a CUSO providing technology solutions to credit unions and other businesses around the country, is excited to welcome the newest member of the board. Each new member brings valuable experience to USCs Board of Directors, including the newest addition.
Michael Downing graduated from the University of Mississippi with a BBA in Marketing in 1987. After graduation, Downing began his 24 year career at Dun and Bradstreet where he held various sales and sales leadership positions including covering Mid-Market Clients, building the government vertical and eventually was selected by the CEO in mid-2010 to serve as one of 15 key executives on the Global Leadership Team, the governing body providing strategic vision for the Corporation. Downing was also asked to lead, the Strategic Client Group, D&B’s largest clients, while continuing to grow the Government Solutions Vertical.
In April 2013, Downing accepted a different position as the Executive Vice President of Sales for Sysomos. As a member of Executive Leadership Team, he was responsible for all North American existing client relationships for a leading global social intelligence and analytics platform.
After over two years in this role, Downing accepted a position as Senior Vice President in the Credit Union Solutions division of Fiserv. Fiserv Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV) is a leading global technology provider serving the financial services industry, driving innovation in payments, account processing services, risk and compliance, customer and channel management, and business insights and optimization. Over a 5-year period, he and his team were responsible for managing the relationships of all 1,800 Credit Union Solutions Account Processing Clients and he also led the Sales enablement function for the division. He had extensive engagements with United Solutions while working with Fiserv, which provided him the understanding of USC’s business model.
