United Way receives donation from First Capital Federal Credit Union!

YORK, PA (December 24, 2019) — On Thursday, December 19, 2019, First Capital Federal Credit Union’s Human Resources/Training Manager, Michele Wherley and CEO/President, Sue DeStephano, presented a check for $6,325 to the United Way of York County’s Campaign Manager, Corey Wolfe.

Some of the money was raised by First Capital employees who made pledges to the United Way’s annual campaign.

“Every year our employees do such a great job making pledges to the United Way’s annual campaign,” said Human Resources/Training Manager, Michele Wherley. “First Capital incentivizes staff to donate, to help raise as much as possible.”

Additional funds came from jeans days, in which staff paid $5 to wear jeans, and other fundraisers.
