UVA Community Credit Union announces Grand Opening of office for its wholly-owned mortgage subsidiary, member options

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA (July 14, 2022) — A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Wednesday, July 13 to celebrate the new Member Options Mortgages and UVA Community
Credit Union Loan Production office located at 2060 Pro Pointe Lane, Harrisonburg.

“This Harrisonburg location is the first Loan Production office in the Credit Union’s newly expanded market. We are thrilled to bring the same level of service we are known for to the Valley Area. Throughout the years, Member Options has provided award winning service and offers a range of lending products to meet the needs of those looking to make homeownership a reality,” said Joe Raichel, chief lending
officer for UVA Community Credit Union.

With headquarters in Charlottesville, UVA Community Credit Union received approval in 2021 from the State Corporation Commission/Bureau of Financial Institutions to expand its area of membership, more than doubling its previous footprint. Membership is open to those who live, work, or attend school in, and to any business located in, Virginia’s Central Piedmont and Valley area.

The new Loan Production office in Harrisonburg will be managed by Tom McGloon, regional mortgage director for Member Options. In addition, this office will support the Credit Union’s commercial lending and indirect auto loan business activities in the area.
