View presentations, vote for CUES® Next Top Credit Union Exec, Oct. 24

MADISON, WI (October 21, 2016) — Final presentations for the 2016 CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec challenge are set for Monday, October 24, during CUES’ CEO/Executive Team Network™ (www.cues.org/ntcue), Savannah, Ga. The competition is supported by a partnership with CUES strategic partner DDJ Myers Ltd.(www.ddjmyers.com), Phoenix, and CUES Supplier member Currency(www.currencymarketing.ca), Chilliwack, B.C., Canada.

The Finalists, five young credit union employees, have been blogging and posting videos at NextTopCreditUnionExec.com(www.ntcue.com) about their respective projects in preparation for the face-off event, which will be live streamed via NextTopCreditUnionExec.com(www.ntcue.com).
The five Finalists are:

Ali Fett, Verve, a Credit Union, Oshkosh, Wis., United States

Colleen Tilton, Blackhawk Community Credit Union, Janesville, Wis., United States

Michael Murdoch, NW Priority Credit Union, Portland, Ore, United States

Nicole Haverly, Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union, Saint Paul, Minn., United States

Shannon Cahoon, Fibre Federal Credit Union, Longview, Wash., United States

The Finalists will have seven minutes to recap their projects for the judging panel and audience, who will then vote for their favorite Finalist.

CUES member and judge Ashley Kohlrus, chief operations officer, Allegacy Federal Credit Union,  Winston-Salem, N.C. said, “Having been a former CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec challenge winner, I know how difficult it is to even get to this stage of the competition. The Finalists have worked very hard with their videos, blog posts, and sharing on social media. No matter who wins, the credit union system will become stronger because of the work of these Finalists.”

Tune in from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. Eastern time on October 24 to view the presentations via live-stream at NextTopCreditUnionExec.com (www.ntcue.com). The public can also vote online for their favorite Finalists between 3:00 p.m. Eastern time on October 24 and 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on October 25. The Finalist with the highest score, based on a combination of judging panel results, audience votes, online votes and social media engagement, will earn the title of 2016 CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec and a $20,000 educational prize package from CUES.
