Visions Federal Credit Union donates to Montrose Mobile Food Pantry

Visions Federal Credit Union has given back through an act of kindness to the Montrose Mobile Food Pantry.

“We teamed up with the food pantry to help the families of Susquehanna County as they prepare for the holidays and everyday,” said Tim Strong, Community Development Manager at Visions FCU.

The food pantry helps around 300 to 400 families and occurs on the second Friday of every month. Visions donated 400 reusable bags and a hundred $25 gift certificates to use at Scarfallotto’s Hometown Market. The gift certificates were randomly handed out during the food drive last Friday, November 13.

Kindness Projects are a way for Visions to give back and say thank you to the communities they are part of.

“Knowing that we are a small part of making a difference in so many families' lives is very fulfilling for our team. We are committed to making a difference and putting a smile on the faces of all individuals within the community,” said Strong.
