Visions Federal Credit Union keeps community warm with donation to Thomas P. Ryan Rec Center

ENDICOTT, NY (November 24, 2020) — Visions Federal Credit Union’s Rochester branch shared the warmth this past week by donating winter apparel to the Thomas P. Ryan Rec Center.

Branch Manager Regina Seabrook along with fellow Visions employees Emily Ellis, Sarah Parton and Lindsay Knaul, delivered 80 individually-packaged hats, gloves, neck warmers and face masks to the center as a Visions Act of Kindness.

“Donating to the Thomas P. Ryan Rec Center was very near and dear to our Rochester team. The center isn’t too far from our branch, so it feels good that we are making a difference so close to home. Especially during the winter months, when students are going to the center, we want to make sure that they are kept warm,” Seabrook said.

Acts of Kindness projects are a way for Visions to give back and say thank you to the communities they are part of. Visions works with local organizations in their markets to help them in any way possible.

“Our Act of Kindness projects are a great way for our branches to get creative and make an impact within their area. We have such a motivated team of individuals who are constantly researching new ways to spread kindness,” said Tim Strong, Community Development Manager at Visions.
