VyStar opens branch in City of Alachua, 3rd in Alachua County

JACKSONVILLE, FL (May 9, 2019) — Brian E. Wolfburg, President/CEO of VyStar Credit Union, announced the official opening of VyStar’s 50th branch location—their third in Alachua County—at 16201 NW US Highway 441, Alachua, Florida. VyStar officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new location on Wednesday, May 1st, at 10:30 a.m., as well as other grand opening festivities through Saturday, May 4th.

VyStar’s new Alachua branch joins two other full-service Alachua County branch locations: Gainesville and Gainesville Oaks. In addition, VyStar offers more than 20 conveniently located surcharge-free ATM options throughout Alachua County and 20,000 throughout the nation.

Brian Wolfburg says, “Our first branch in the City of Alachua is another step forward in VyStar’s strategic commitment to provide convenient access to the Gainesville area and all of Alachua County. We are excited to open a full-service branch in this beautiful city, and we are grateful for the warm welcome we have received from this great community.”

The Alachua branch is one of VyStar’s new branch design concepts and mirrors the Gainesville Oaks branch location. The design combines a fresh look with enhanced technology intended to increase efficiency and improve member experience. The Alachua facility has four teller stations, five member service offices, three drive-thru lanes, one drive-up ATM, and one walk-up ATM located in a protected vestibule with 24-hour access. Lobby hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Drive-thru hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Traci Lee serves as Branch Vice President of VyStar’s Alachua branch. Traci has worked in the Alachua County community in the past and is extremely excited to be a part of this new branch.
