Warren Federal Credit Union hires Insuritas to launch insurance agency

EAST WINDSOR, CT (January 21, 2014) — Insuritas, the nation’s top ranked provider of turnkey insurance agencies, announced it has been hired by Warren Federal Credit Union ($495 million in assets) located in Wyoming and Colorado to open a turnkey insurance agency for the benefit of its’ over 44,000 members.

Jeff Chesky, President and CEO of Insuritas, noted: “Warren Federal Credit Union leadership recognized that all of their members buy insurance every year, and that providing insurance products is a natural extension of their core business that allows them to leverage the powerful brand equity they’ve created in the market.”  Chesky added “Our deployment team will have Warren’s new full service insurance agency up and operational in 90 days. Rather than building a new agency from scratch or purchasing an existing agency Warren’s leadership team concluded that Insuritas, with its LoanINSURE® and SmartCART Technology℠, was the best solution.”

Michael Nagl, Vice President of Warren FCU stated: “We wanted to own an insurance agency that would offer all of the insurance products our members need for their financial security, all in a one-stop shopping experience. Through this partnership we own the agency, offer a complete array of insurance products to protect our members, their families and their businesses, and we build a powerful new fee income stream.” Nagl concluded: “Launching Warren Insurance Agency for our members supports our core commitment – to provide great member experiences by anticipating member needs.”
