Warrick County Commissioners proclaim 2015 as “Heritage FCU’s 50th Anniversary Year”

BOONVILLE, IN (May 8, 2015) — Heritage Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that they have received a proclamation from the Warrick County Commissioners as follows: “In recognition of the unique contributions made to the people and communities of Warrick County, the Warrick County Commissioners have unanimously voted to proclaim this year as Heritage Federal’s 50th Anniversary Year in Warrick County.”

The Proclamation reads:
WHEREAS,   Heritage Federal Credit Union of Newburgh, Indiana was  founded 50 years ago in January 1965 by members of                                                                                                 Local 104 to provide affordable financial products and services to its members in Newburgh, Indiana; and,

WHEREAS, in the 50 years since its founding, Heritage Federal Credit Union has demonstrated outstanding leadership throughout                                                                               the Warrick and Vanderburgh county communities in which they have served; and,

WHEREAS,  Heritage Federal Credit Union has championed the idea that people from all walks of life should have access to affordable                                                                               financial products and services; and,

WHEREAS, Heritage Federal Credit Union has been an integral part of the Warrick and Vanderburgh county communities and, in                                                                                               the spirit of their “People Helping People” philosophy, has donated to non-profit organizations millions of dollars and                                                                                       thousands of volunteer hours by their employees, Board of Directors and friends over the years; and,

WHEREAS, Heritage Federal Credit Union will continue to serve as a leader in our communities as an employer and corporate                                                                                        donor for generations to come

THEREFORE,  be it resolved that we, the Members of the Warrick County Board of Commissioners, do proclaim 2015 as

Heritage Federal Credit Union’s 50th Anniversary Year 

in the County of Warrick, Indiana, and that all citizens recognize the many contributions Heritage Federal Credit Union has made to our community both tangible and intangible, through the years, and honor and express appreciation for the service and commitment of Heritage Federal Credit Union.
