Workers Credit Union hires Bob Leger as Senior Vice President of Treasury, Asset and Liability Management & Investments

Workers Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Leger as Senior Vice President of Treasury, Asset and Liability Management (ALM) and Investments. Leger brings 25 years of financial experience to manage the credit union’s finances, forecasting and reporting. In this role, he will oversee the credit union’s cash flows, liquidity models and simulations, investment portfolios, collateral, ALM, pricing, and analytical reporting. Leger started his new position August 29.
“Bob brings a strong finance background to this demanding role,” said Timothy Smith, Workers Credit Union’s SVP, CFO & Treasurer. “Having led some of the most respected financial institutions in New England, Bob not only brings deep industry knowledge and expertise to help us run finances smoothly, but a critical understanding of what it takes to drive growth. I have witnessed Bob’s intellect and abilities firsthand and am excited to work closely with him as we continue to work to improve the daily lives of our members.”
Leger comes to Workers Credit Union from Infinity Federal Credit Union. Previously, he held Chief Financial Officer roles at Town & Country Federal Credit Union and York County Federal Credit Union, as well as controller of Aroma Joe’s Franchising in Maine.
