York County goes ‘krazy’ for Kasasa!

YORK, PA (December 4, 2014) — On Friday, November 21, 2014, WGTY 107.7 and Presenting Sponsor First Capital Federal Credit Union hosted York Ladies Nite at the Holiday Inn in York.  The event ran from 6:00 – 10:30 pm and featured dozens of vendors including First Capital FCU, a travel agency, various home-based businesses, and a spa and skin care company, among others.  This year First Capital tried something a little different.  “We wanted to focus on Kasasa, our new line of rewards-driven checking accounts.  So, we made headlines…literally,” said Tara Houser, VP of Marketing.  “We made our booth look like a newspaper with ‘First Capital FCU Members Go Krazy for Kasasa’ as our headline and an opening where staff or party goers could stand to be ‘the picture’ in the paper!”  The display helped start dozens of conversations.  Hundreds of people came out for the event and a chance to win door prizes, sample food from various vendors, take in a seminar and get a little exercise with Zumba breaks.  The event wrapped up with a post party concert with country artist Jackie Lee.

First Capital Federal Credit Union is a $160 million asset-size, credit union with nearly 18,000 members based in York, PA.  Founded in 1954 as S. Morgan Smith Credit Union, First Capital has merged and grown, and continues to work closely with more than 400 companies and organizations throughout York County and across the country.
