EdFed member wins new car in 90th Anniversary Sweepstakes

Educational Federal Credit Union (EdFed) announced the Grand Prize Winner of their 90th Anniversary Sweepstakes, with Dr. Carolyn Moss selected as the winner of a new 2025 Kia K4, donated by South Dade Kia of Miami.

The Miami-based credit union recently celebrated its 90th Anniversary on April 1, 2025, with a sweepstakes event that awarded 30 EdFed members with a cruise vacation package in addition to the Grand Prize awarded to Dr. Moss.

"We are very excited that Dr. Moss won this beautiful new car today," expressed Michael DiBenedetto, EdFed’s President & CEO, during the car presentation ceremony outside of the credit union’s Kendall headquarters. "She is a long-term employee with Miami-Dade County Public Schools and has been a valued member of EdFed for 14 years. Congratulations to Dr. Moss and all the winners in the 90th Anniversary Sweepstakes!" 

Dr. Moss expressed her heartfelt appreciation toward EdFed and South Dade Kia of Miami.

"I am full of gratitude for winning,” she shared. “The staff at Kia were very accommodating and welcoming when I went into the dealership. I would definitely recommend South Dade Kia of Miami to friends and family. It was a wonderful experience."

EdFed held 90th Anniversary celebrations at all of their branches which included a commemorative gift and refreshments. The credit union reported nearly 30,000 entries were received for the sweepstakes.
