EECU honors outstanding educators, staff in Kings County

Fresno, CA (May 2, 2025) |

Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) partnered once again with the Kings County Office of Education to recognize the county’s top educators and school staff during the 2025 Excellence in Education awards ceremony held on April 29 at the Hanford Fox Theater.

This longstanding partnership reflects a shared commitment to uplifting those who make a lasting impact on students and schools throughout Kings County.

Beth Dooley, EECU president and CEO, presented awards to recognize the outstanding honorees made up of teachers, administrators, and school employees from Kings County’s 13 school districts.

“For more than two decades, we’ve stood alongside the Kings County Office of Education to celebrate the heart of our schools – the incredible people who educate, lead, and support our students,” Dooley said. “It’s a privilege to recognize the passion and dedication of our educators and school staff year after year.”

The awards ceremony honored exceptional individuals, including teachers, administrators, and classified school employees. Honorees were nominated by their peers and selected for their outstanding contributions, leadership, and commitment to education.

The Excellence in Education awards remain a cherished tradition in Kings County, offering an opportunity to celebrate the people who make a difference in the lives of students every day. It is one of six annual county events sponsored by EECU that highlights exemplary educators and school staff.
