Royal Credit Union (Royal) announces Christy Woods as Collections Manager. In this role, Woods will be responsible for overseeing a variety of loan accounts including consumer, residential, and secondary market loans. With a strong focus on reducing overdue payments and minimizing loan losses, Woods will analyze loan performance patterns and develop strategic plans to mitigate financial risks. Her efforts will support Royal's organizational goals and ensure the financial well-being of its Members.
Woods joined Royal in March 2024 as Collections Supervisor. In her new position, Woods is eager to continue working with her exceptional team, who have a strong tradition of achieving remarkable results. Additionally, she is excited to foster the growth and development of her team, discover innovative ways to leverage data for decision-making, and collaborate across the organization to support shared goals.
Woods holds the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) certification, issued by America’s Credit Unions, and the Professional Collection Specialist (PCS) designation, issued by the American Counseling Association (ACA) International. In her free time, Woods is a member of Chippewa Falls High School Athletics Booster Club and enjoys traveling with her family and watching her kids’ sporting events.
